Manchester City and Chelsea will renew their rivalry in the Women's FA Cup after they were drawn together in the semi-finals yesterday.

The sides will meet at this stage of the competition for the fifth time in six seasons - they have never faced each other in the final - and, if the League Cup is included, it will be their seventh domestic semi-final tie since 2014.

While City host Chelsea, West Ham will travel to Reading, with both of the latter sides hoping to reach the showpiece for the first time. The semi-finals will be played on Sunday, April 14.

Reading required a 120th-minute goal to see off Championship side Manchester United in the previous round, while West Ham narrowly defeated Aston Villa, who were the lowest-ranked team remaining, via a first-half Jane Ross strike.

City comfortably despatched Liverpool but only Ji So-yun's brilliant goal separated Chelsea from Championship opponents Durham.
