Confirmed Arsenal v Chelsea lineups as Jorginho decision made

Arsenal host Chelsea in the Premier League this evening as the two London rivals lock horns at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal remain in the hunt for the Premier League title having beaten Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 at Molineux on Saturday night.

The Gunners simply had to win that game after defeats to Aston Villa and Bayern Munich, so Mikel Arteta will be delighted.

Arsenal return to the Emirates Stadium tonight and Arteta has gone with David Raya in goal once again.

William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes continue as the centre backs with Takehiro Tomiyasu starting at left back.

Ben White is on the right side of defence whilst former Chelsea man Jorginho is only on the bench.

That means Thomas Partey starts, sitting behind Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard in midfield.

Another former Chelsea man leads the line in Kai Havertz with Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard on the flanks.

That means Gabriel Jesus is only on the bench, joining Aaron Ramsdale, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jakub Kiwior, Jorginho, Fabio Vieira, Emile Smith Rowe, Gabriel Martinelli and Eddie Nketiah.

Chelsea go with Djordje Petrovic between the sticks whilst Mauricio Pochettino – Arteta’s former teammate at Paris Saint-Germain – goes with two French centre backs.

Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile both start with Marc Cucurella at left back and homegrown talent Alfie Gilchrist at right back.

Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo continue their expensive midfield partnership with Conor Gallagher pushing forward.

Cole Palmer is out tonight, meaning Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk flank Nicolas Jackson in attack.

Thiago Silva features on the bench alongside Marcus Bettinelli, Trevoh Chalobah, Cesare Casadei, Kiano Dyer, Carney Chukwuemeka, Raheem Sterling, Jimi Tauriainen and Deivid Washington.
